Does your tree have a pickle?
Or a fancy spider?
We bought a fresh tree for the first time in about 15 years.
Some of my favorite ornaments are older than me.
Hubby snapped a pic before I was even done decorating.
Even though there is much to still get done,
take time to enjoy the season!
Your tree is beautiful! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree Pam love the ornaments .
ReplyDeleteI actually have heard of the pickle tradition. My sister lived in Cincinnati and it was very big there. Your tree is very pretty. I too, have some of my families old ornaments. They mean more to me than all the themed trees that I see.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful tree, and no, our trees doesn't have a pickle, nor a spider, lol.
ReplyDeleteI always decorate my tree with all the things that my children made when they were little. And this year I will add my Santa ornaments, too.
I have a pink spider a stitching buddy from Australia made for me at least 8 years ago (when I was going through BC) and it goes in the front of my tree every year! Your tree is lovely--I like the vintage ornies! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty tree!
