So you think we're cute?

Cute and fun to watch -- that's us!

Til we empty the feeder!

This is the square I stitched for Gracie's Quilt.  Gracie will be having surgery later this year and her grandma is making a quilt filled with cross stitched cat squares.  Several other stitchers have also stitched squares.  This is actually the second one I stitched because the first one never made it to it's destination.  I mailed it at the beginning of December, but it still had not been received by the beginning of January, so I stitched another one.

Mom Update:  Some of you may remember that my mom has been undergoing cancer treatment for a rare lymphoma.  It's been a long 27 months of treatment and I'm happy to say that mom has finished the treatments!  Now we wait.  We wait to see how the lymphoma responds and pray for remission.

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead this weekend!  I heard a doctor explain how bad for our bodies the time change can be.  She suggested that starting tonight, we all go to bed 15 minutes later and get up 15 minutes earlier.

Have a great and safe weekend!

  4. I do not think they are cute at all! They dig into our home, they think our cedar siding would make a great home. They also eat all our bird food. I will be praying for your mother.

  9. Great pics! I do think they are cute. We had a wild one beg us for handouts at our house in town. After she had babies, one of them joined her. It was fun.

Hope your mom has a great outcome!

  10. Ha ha--that scene with the squirrels and birdfeeder looks very familiar, Pam!! It's amazing how quickly they can consume the bird seed, isn't it?

So glad your mom's treatments are done--sending prayers for full remission for her.

I love the longer days :) Can't wait for daylight when I come home from work at the end of a long day!
