December 4th (and up to date)

What a nice day I had yesterday!  I spent the whole day with Hubby at home.  I was lucky enough to have my dear Hubby make cupcakes (all by himself) just for my birthday.  My girls had to work, but they had rented a couple of movies just for me.  Hubby lit a few candles, served chilled sparkling grape juice and made spaghetti for dinner.  Simple things, but when put all together, it made my day rather special.

Christmas Rose Poinsettia (my camera did not capture the beautiful red color)

My MIL & FIL stopped by this morning to deliver a beautiful Christmas Rose poinsettia.  There is a grower just a few miles from here and they supply the local walmarts, home depots and a few other big box stores in the midwest with seasonal flowers.  In the summer, it's the perennials,  annuals and vegetables.  In the winter, it's the Christmas cactus and poinsettia.

I didn't get to stitch any this weekend, but I did work on some finishing.  As soon as I have the finishing completed, I'll be able to show some pics.

Hope you all had a good weekend!

Until next time...
